There's something called 雨过天晴!

I have been on leave/off and today MC.... dun ask me why, but I havent been sleeping well again.... I have been falling asleep after tossing ard till abt 6.26am, how I know? Cos I checked the hp to see how much time I have got to sleep before my alarm goes off at 6.30am. Damn!

So much insomnia.... of cos massive headache today lah! Considered the Manpower in branch, after thinking for abt 15 agonising mins in bed, I sms-ed in Sick.

Nevertheless, one has still gotta eat her dinner. I sleep from 12pm till abt 3.20 pm before I got up to study. Since I have already arranged to meet Vivy and Starry at Kovan for some Teochew Muay, so even on a MC day, I went the normal route of 50mins bus journey to Kovan.

After braving the stormy weather (I havent seen such weather for a while in Singapore), I arrived decently dry at the bustop and there it was, greeting me and the many others waiting for the bus to bring them home.

So, after each storm, as long as there is a spectrum of light travelling through a droplet, a rainbow forms....

Suddenly I got lotza 感触... llife is like this isnt it?! We all go thru stormy weather, just so to arrive at a little shelter and we will feel so fortunate to have found that little shelter and comfort!
It made my heart very warm for this evening....meeting my best pals for dinner.... everything....Awwwww..... oh, and of course the $8/pax simple Teochew Muay helped!
*P.S.: I am a Teochew gal, and I shall never be conned into eating Teochew Muay outside and be that CarrotHead 菜头, kena made to pay crazy price for simple home-cooked-muay!
This is the 1,000,003th time I have made this vow! Must remb!

3) Weekend Sun
Wake at 8.30am, Jog/Cycle/Swim
Attend Course Gathering at Orchard till abt 2.30-3pm.
R&R with frends

Ok! 1st up! It's Finalised!
I ended up having a New Okaley bag and losing a Boyfriend.
This is what i call a Pyrrhic victory.
To put it simply, A Pyrrhic victory is a Victory with devastating cost to the victor. One that can do without.

So today I declare myself Single and Available again! It's more for myself, a start to move on and leave the past behind - afterall, I have been "single" for the past 2 weeks with no sound no picture! Loathed such childish silent break! Not secondary school liao lor! Tsk tsk!

After sitting down to analyse things, I think it's for the better anyway.
Some signs I failed to acknowledge but ard right infront of me!
Signs like he's not over the past r/s, he's not as stable as I wish my partner to be etc.
Of course I still cant deny the fact that it's fun hanging out together, coffee with the other guys, lazing in bed, discussing the latest computer gadget/man toy, etc.

End of story, it was fun for the past 2 months, no regrets, time to be realistic and move on!
YAY! Soya's gotten stronger!

When I finally embrace my new status, Papa have to give me a scolding....haiz...

I called home to ask if Papa n Linda would like to have dinner together at the Kopitiam. They were Onz. So when I got back alone, Papa was puzzled as he expected to see Al. When he asked abt Al, I told him that we were no longer together. To my surprise, he Flared up and scolded me nonstop saying things like :"Why like that! U all play play ah?! Why u like that!" as if it was my fault! I kept quiet and just said :"Aiyah, different direction in life, so spilt lor! Can we just go for a quiet and nice dinner?!"

Dinner was tense, the only way I know how to mitigate the situation is to make dinner expensive too. Papa loves Food lah! So settled this episode for the day.... Phew....
But it left my heart very heavy... have I disappointed Papa again? I'm sure he had hoped for me to settle down soon... afterall, I am no longer "young" to them! haiz... I knew he was more upset than angry with me.... but did he tot that I was the unreasonable, hard-to-get-along, difficult,missy-temper one?! NO!!!! I wasnt! But did he know that?!

In relationships, I have always been more than patient, more than gentle and kind. but each time I told myself, I would fall into the pitfall anymore! I need to protect myself more.... I can honestly say that for this r/s with Al, I have been tougher and my defence shield doubled in thickness and my attitude more nonchalant.

Qn:Was this the reason for us coming to this stage?
Ans: I duno and will never be sure.

I went around running my errands today....

1st) Sengkang Raffles Medical for Dr.Loh - for a check up that I have be procrastinating to do... female stuff.... okie, the last time I waited for a routine check up (pap Smear) test results, they sacared the hell outta me... then they told me 2 weeks and the results will be out, any further delay means they may need more test or to send my for further check up! Bloody hell, this was just a routine check up! And 3 weeks past and no news from them. It totally slipped my mind too till suddenly i rembed and called the clinic. For the next 30mins and 3 ding dong call backs... they finally found my results and it was normal. Phew....

So....so... this time, I went to Dr.Loh again and expressed my dismay and the anxiety caused, she assured me that it's a one off thing to happen (probably 1 in a millionth, Qn: hw may test have they done so far? Why the luckily me never wins any lottery or 4D since the chances are equally slim?!). Ok, anyway, this time it's gona be a 1 week wait - longest!

Gd.

2nd) I went to Kovan my branch and bot a Pretty Sunflower for one of my colleague =D She wasnt feeling so gd the past few days and she msged me.... I do not know why (yet) that she was not feeling so gd, but I tot the Sunny Flower will bring a smile to her!

IT DID!!!

Oh, and I also had a nice little chat with my new lady boss, LW. She's the nicest lady bosses that I have encountered so far... one of the nicest bosses (male/female) too!
The dreadful qn came when she asked me what is my intention/plans while in this orgn?
Haiz...
can I tell her that I will leave once I secure my other ideal?

Will I dare to make the move to leave the job security,basic pay, friends, 2nd family?

Will I wanna leave her in the lurch as we really do not have anymore decent manpower left?

Will I really be able to achieve financial freedom with my other ideal?

I answered her qn the best I could, I told her that I had aspired to work my way up to where she is now. Given the market condition, things will have to hold back alittle bit. I have alwis wanted to work for myself and work from home. Given all these, it is my sole duty and responsibilty to do my best in whatever I am tasked to do now and not be a mediocre.

I think I have given myself a fair stand and given her a fair answer. =D

3rd) I went to CENTRAL to chop off my hair... ok ok, i know my hair is not very long lah, but it's was quite long already!!!!

Had been contemplating if I should really start to keep my hair long…..
after all, boys DO like girls with longer hair right? OK, or at least longer hair than they do! Al had been “dropping” hints like

“Darling, why do u consider keeping your hair longer?”

My repeat will always be

“Baby, I cant really keep long hair! 1) I will have more hair loss! 2) I will be upset when I have more hair loss! 3) U dun really wanna me to be upset right?! 4) this is the XXXth time I have told u the reason why I dun think I wanna keep long lah…ok?”

Well, since we are at where we are now.... and I aint gona give a shit anyway... I chopped it off!

4th) Oh! My Dearie Starry gave me the “SO LOVING” Coffeebun bear hp accessory!!! We bot the other 1 tog with Sui and Wendy and Starry specially went back the next day to buy the other 1 for me! Surprised me! She rembed that I kept saying that the Red 1 is so Sweet!!! The one I bought is “SO HUGGABLE!”

We all can learn something from the movie! From the one always waiting for love OR the one who thinks she’s forever in love and loved OR the one who needed to be showed she is loved! We all fall into the trap so many times!

I have saw the book on the shelves, alongside Gary Chapman’s “Love Languages”, etc… those social Self Discovery (read: Self Help) books…. I have never have a chance to read it! Maybe I will!

Meanwhile, I have digested the moral of the story to be:
1) Dun change for some1 else, and dun expect that some1 else to change for u.
2) We are really who we are!
3) We will only change when we really want to!
4) No one loves ourselves more than we do, of course other than our parents!

I saw 2 movies on SUNDAY! !
YES YES! Two!!!!

Romance comedy.... supa amazed by how "Bridget Jones" can pile it all up for the role and then lose them all for another movie.... do they get stretch marks?! Anyway, she looked supa in the movie... slim and shapely in that little corporate attire of hers! =D

Supa nice movie!!! YAY! Heavy, disturbing but beautifully shot! Dun miss it! Shdnt be screening for much longer liao!

We got back late, probably ard 1+? I remember sleeping at ard 2am in the morning on a Sunday night! I had a very bad nightmare! I dreamt the scene where Christine (Angelina Jolie) was douched with the fire hose at the Asylum and was asked to spread her legs whereby the nurse "dig" for whatever she is looking for in you-knw-where! I shouted so loudly that I woke myself up! My darling Cookie immediately got by my side and gave me a "IT's-OKIE-MUMMY!-I-M-HERE-FOR-YOU" MEOW! Sweet baby he is!

Haiz... very dazed when I when to work! hahah!

Best of all, I met up with some friends for a kopi. I probably only jogged 3.5km to meet them at SAFRA TAMPINES! Chuiz... could barely feel my legs!
But it's a gd jog! YAY!

The only 2 differences between this phone and my old HTC is that the LG KS 20 has a flash for it's 2 MP camera, and it has a FM Radio function!
These are the reasons why I decided to earn $90 lesser and sold my HTC Touch!

I am sometimes pissed with the phone for the following reasons:
1) When I am listening to the FM, and a sms / phone call comes in, the FM of course will stop - IT DOESNT RESUME BACK after the call ends or after I acknowledge the sms!!!
WHAT THE FUCK!!!

2) When I turn on the FM, the bluetooth is on too!! WHAT THE FUCK! Waste battery! I am still trying to figure out how I can hack into the system do some tweak or something, back to reading the forum!

3) Have to change to the off market screen protector soon! cos it is making my stylus less responsive esp when I am msging or editing photo! DAMN IRRITATING LAH!!!

I must and MUST find a way to do it! My only concern is that if I hack the system, I may lose the original software and end up not resolving the problem, means only 1 thing to me - GO TO LG SERVICE CENTRE IN ALEXANDRA! I aint going anyway beyond Tanjong Pagar without a car!

Have been too busy to update my life...

Will just do the more impt 1s...

I finally changed my HP plan.... corporate line and downgraded the plan. Shave savings of abt $40/mth at least! Even if I busted my SMS usage! YAY!~

Changed my Hp too, from my old Trusty HTC Touch (1st version!!!) to a LG KS 20... good deal, buy deal, mUST BUY! Made $132 during the process! Could have make $222 instead but decided to change HP... a new hp and some crumpled notes in my wallet - NOT BAD!

Anyway, it was only when I finished restoring all my ctcs etc (a few hours later) that I remembered that the HTC was a gift from Mr.Tan. Wow.... I din even planned to change my hp in the first place, saw good lobang then change lor, as if it meant nothing to me... I duno what got into me honestly... have I really moved away from the past? 旧的不去新的不来 for r/s too? Surprised even myself!

Work as usual is mandane... haiz... staying afloat now... trying my best to do my sales...

Cookie n Creamie are always my comfort.... my pillar of support... I come home each day.... they come into my arms...I know it's worth working and slogging hard for...

I blasted my budget .... I spent $400+ on a new package for waxing, $2000 for a course that I have been dying to sign up for, $150+ for a bottle of VSOP at St.James (+Membership). all in a matter of 2 days.... it's crazy... I hope they will be gd investments... haiz.

Okie, the reason why we took this picture was, I have been considering for years if I should be a member. One of the reason was that I had wanted to stop drinking for good and if I signed as a member, it'll just me more reason to DRINK!

But Heck! The offer's too gd to be truth! Sharing with Wendys' (Member-Get-Member scheme), we each only have to pay $300 for two bottles of VSOPs! Good deal!

Heck, I already signed 2 bills of $2000 and $406 respectively a couple of days ago! What do I care abt $150! Hahahah!
