So happy today!
I was feeling rather lazy today but got up to go for a dip at TP pool this morning!
The weather has been a killer recently, even Cookie & Creamie behaved rather lazy in the hot weather!
So I probably swam abt 10 leisure laps, and attempted to "bake" under the sun... mainly to get rid of the ugly tights and bra top tanline I got from training for the Triathlon event....
Alas, forgot my watch this morning! so I gauged by the number of songs played through my radio... I reckon it's abt 4 mins per song, so after 4 songs will flip over.... chuiz... lost count, fell asleep and too much DJ's toking distracted me, gave up after probably 20 mins! no patience for tanning! Ha!
Waited damn bloody long (25mins!) for the express bus 518... Aimed to go Takashimaya to utilise my vouchers wons from the Sales Award... Toking abt the vouchers, changed the $100 Dubai Currency (Dirham) that they gave us in an Ang Bao, beckoning us to work hard for the sales target and then we can all use it at the "promised" 4days3nights DUBAI trip. It was worth SGD $40! Yes, I am still sore about the whole thing.

I knew what I wanted to check out at Taka already, but 1st up, need to fill my complaining tummy!
YUMMY Food! Was so hungry, I need to order a separate piece of Unagi fish! Kekke!
The auntie kept confirming with me!
"But Girl, u ordered the Set already right? U wana another 1?"
"Yes Auntie, I want the set, but I also want the Unagi fish. just the fish, no Set."
"Oh, so just the Unagi fish lah... no set..."
"No no Auntie, I am very hungry now, I want to order the set, and I want ANOTHER Unagi Fish... just the fish - no set. Btw, do u sell cold drinks?"
"Ok ok... sure u can finish ah... ok... we dun have cold drinks... but you can buy from next door and bring over...*Smile*"
"Ok, thank you Auntie!"
So I went next door and got myself 2 cups of Miranda Grapes drink... was feeling dehydrated and craving for carbonated drinks...so I returned to sit at my place and auntie came with the Unagi Fish...then I guessed from her starring of the 2 cups of drinks, she asked:
"Girl, you friend coming already? U want the set now?"
"Erm...auntie, I am alone actually, yes, I want the set now too...*smiles* thank you."
I quickly finish the food and left as the lunch time crowd started to come in and were standing at a breathing-down-my-neck distance from behind me....=D
Oh, I used the Taka vouchers to pay for the meal! YAY!!
The fish was really Yummy! Trust me!! 
The Unagi was so so, probably cos I saw Auntie took it from the fridge & popped it into the microwave...
Yes! I finished the whole set, except for the rice (though it was rather yummy)!
I practically dissect the whole fish, no more head also! kekek!

After shopping for darn long, I decided to buy a Mixer finally! Had a hard time deciding between a Kenwood 1, or a Philips 1, with a stand or hand held.... In the end....
PHILIPS Hand Held 350watts Won
for practically reason!
Oh, and I bot a baking tin + a WTF Lemon Zester that I have been eyeing since like forever!?!
Why does an instrument that make lemon/lime/orange skin looks prettier as garnish cost a Freaking $17?!! I duno, but I bot it anyway this time... I must have eyed on it since... 2002! hahah!

Oh yes, I used the Vouchers for these! Kekek! Feeling very good!

Rushed to Simei Phoon Huat to get some baking ingredients & East Point NTUC... lugged all the shopping bags home from Simei... thankfully the rain stopped!
I got back at abt 4pm and started to bake... hmmmm....
I had earlier checked that there are oranges at home so I am gona make Orange Muffins..... & cos Orange goes well with Chocolate (vice versa), I decided to drop some Dark chocolate chips in. I improvished the receipe, taking note mainly of the measurements for Flour and sugar only....
Oh, in between I find the texture alittle to wet for muffin, so I pour in more flour! wUAHAH! Go by F-E-E-L-I-N-G ah!!!
Also bought another mixing bowl... this time I dared to whip the eggs harder and faster cos this bowl is deeper! I noticed that the texture looks more fluffy! I also bot new muffin cups! I remb Starry mentioned that the muffin cups will affect the muffins too!
I tot of how I would like my muffins to taste lah... I would like some texture... I cut the skin of the orange, without the white fibre part and chopped them up! With the new zester, I prepared some Orange Zest, I topped it on the muffin before I popped them into the oven!
&.... I waited....
Starting to rise! & quite differently from the previous time!
Then it cracked on top! VIOLA!!!!
成功了!
Beautiful! This is how I want my muffins to look! So happy! I jumped up & down in the kitchen! I shouted out!I ran to hug n kiss Cookie & Creamie and tell them "mummy succeeded!"
So Happy! Still so happy! It looks really pretty!
