"So What next huh?"

Have been feeling rather lethargic lately... hard to trade... alot on my mind also... work... $$...


The same question keeps popping in my head....: "So what next huh?"

Was also busy with reformatting my computer.... after a possible virus attack of trojan horse from the company's computer, I decided to do a who reset of both my iPhone, Orange MePhone, n my Computer, WangWang... I suffered another 3 days of constipation n irritation of not being OPERATIONAL READY. Only to discover that my Webbrowser got hijacked for the 2nd time in my life....

The last time was not a very pleasant experience.... this time round, I was pretty sure which program had caused it.... hence after 1 day of searching for a gd n free anti spyware/ad-ware/coolwebsearch programe (those who are not as Geeky as me may be reading stars already *^&^*%$#%$@#* ), I managed to remove it without having to restore my whole lappy again + i got the same infectious program up n running again! yahhhoooooo!

The coming week will see me being  busier with work.... bogged down with the time line of deciding the "WHAT NEXT HUH?" n making some major decisions....

Life is so tough.... n meaningless.... sometimes...
I was in church the other day and listened to a talk by Brother Frankie Yee... He is such a charismatic n motivational speaker that I am naturally very drawn towards him. This week, he touched on a rather sad topic: "How to live a Meaningful Life in a Meaningless world..."

I think the talk sets one thinking about how we can better our perspectives in life.... and then how to pick ourselves up n look forward to actually "living a Life....". Not just the christian way of life.
I honestly believe that even a non-christian can take away the important message that what life has installed for u!

1st he touched on a chapter in the bible abt King Solomons... How as one of the richest kings in his era, he was still not happy with life. He narrowed down to 3 methods to try to make his himself happy: Enlightment, Enjoyment and Enrichment.

Enlightment - King Solomons set abt to learn as much as he could n he knew alot, he was one of the most knowledgeable king of his times, yet the more he knew - the more unhappy he became. in today's context, Br.Frankie gave the example of going to the doc n learnt that he has high cholesterol- thereafter he became unhappy as he has to give up his fav foods!

Enjoyment - King Solomons had 700 wives n 300 concubines. Party animal but he was still "lonely" inside...

Enrichment - Kings Solomons was one of the richest man in his time, built many monuments and temples under his name. Yet he knew that when he is gone, he will not be able to bring these with him.

King Solomons never did understand and live a very sorrowful life.... though he had everything.... he has NOTHING...

Job 1:21-: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised."

 Job said this when he lost everything overnight... his estate, his family... what strong faith this man has- only cause he recognised the fact that all that was given to us NOW (in this life), do not belong to us at all, but by the Grace of His works....

The talk started to tok abt perspectives... how we like to complain and complain but failed to recognise the fact that we already have so much...
-we complain abt our job when WE HAVE A JOB,
-we complain abt our maid when WE HAVE THE MEANS TO EMPLOY A MAID,
-we complain abt how lousy my lappy or iphone are when WE HAVE THE MEANS TO OWE ONE! (gulity I am as charged!!!)

Morale of the talk... to live a Meaningful life! We are created to be Happy, not miserable! Stop complaining and start Living!!

Btw, did u know that if u have US$20 to ur name, u are amongst the World's top 17% richest people! I dint know this until this talk. Just image the rest of the 83% people!! Hallujah!

Lucky me (n You!), i did a recording of the talk with my MePhone, the sound effect is not as good as live of course, but I have tried over the past few days to tweak the echos and the basses liao.... this is the best I can do with my limited IT Audio knowledge....
