“PAIN IS WEAKNESS LEAVING OUR BODY!”

Feel rather happy today!


Woke at 9am (due my very persistent personal alarm: Cookie the Kitty alarm clock!)


Went for Breakfast with Papa, had sinful Hokkien mee and Fried Kuay Teow! YAY! With extra cockles and extra BLACK!


Have been feeling famish all the time lately, must be due to all the training I have been doing! Went back, actually wanted to focus on studying, but ended up doing things like cleaning my room, playing with Cookie&Creamie! Then eventually, studied from 12 to 4.20pm. Finished the 1.5cm thick text book and 2 mock exam papers. Sleepy!!!


Napped for abt 1hr and left for TP for swim with Clarissa. Decided to take some videos to see my own stroking underwater and above water.





Need to improve:
- Wasted energy to lift ankles above water to kick, gd angle and strength but maybe should focus more underwater for stronger propulsion!




- Left arm too lazy to lift properly, entry into water looks ok, but the pull has some wastes angles, should concentrate on using more strength to pull


- Too much rolling from side to side esp when pulling for breathe, need to focus tilting head, not lifting!


- Look down to bottom of lane, not front (less to check lane markers), will have less strain on back of neck and collarbone muscles.





With this initial analysis, I stretched more and focus on my stroke and completed 20 laps with more ease and better timing! Amazing!!! I use to do 20 laps with more strain! First 10 laps will be 12mins 50 secs, second 10s will be abt 13mins 50 secs, so total abt 26mins 40 secs & Panting!! Today I did 25mins 10secs! Happy with the improvement plus I finished off stronger and with greater ease!

YAY! I CAN DO IT!


When I finished bathing, I suddenly realized that I have lotsa new greenish veins popping out of no where on my body, esp my legs! Gosh! I din notice them before!?! Too much running recently?! I was merely inspecting the usual bruising (after every 5+km run) on my left knee , then I noticed how bony and “veiny” my feet looks… maybe losing more weight will take the load off my poor size 5 (sometimes 4.5) Miss Left and Miss Right!


Losing weight can wait! My poor tummy cant! Me & Clarissa then head off for some yummy dinner! My tummy deserve some Ice Cold Cheng Teng and Deep Fried Fish&Chips!


Heck the green alien veins!!! Tmr can Train harder! Eat 1st! Hahha!

Oh, and my dear Starry sent my this photo from Facebook, taken on Claris' wedding 26 Oct 2008. Starry said I have lost quite abit of weight, that my face is sharper now.... hmm....

i usually put on weight face and very hard to lose them off one lor.... Ok, I know I have lost some weight lah, but got so drastic mah?
