Lappy Discussion - Victorious Results

Time passes really fast, the Lappy I am using now to type this entry has been with me since my Navy days… in fact, I bought it with my 1st Navy Officer paycheck… that’s in Yr 2002? So it must have been 7 yrs already!

So recently I checked the specs, Goosh!
-Intel Pentium Centrino Mobile Technology 1.3Ghz , 512kb
-512Kb
-Hard disk 20GB+10GB (I had to pay extra for the 10GB as it was the almost the tip top model then!)
-Wifi
-Integrated CDR drive

That’s all I can remb for now…. So, really have served me very well…
Jude (YES, I name my more precious gadgets!) has been with me thru a lot!

Torn between so many choice + of course there is always the issue of budget (since I am officially unemployed liao)!

I had a very interesting evening short listing the impt criteria of lappy that I wan…
& of course the most interesting Decision Making process…. We actually sat down & surfed the net, look through the plans… discussed intensively the prices & actually did this scoring system! Cool!

Due to my impatience, I decided to end the whole discussion without a proper conclusion… but I rather enjoyed the process of making A decision…usually I would have made the decision myself & get on with it. Today, I allowed someone to sit me through, slowly & patiently… there was actually a conversation, decent debate, very objective, & focus… this is what I liked abt the whole thing.

To me, my objective for the evening has been made, the model of lappy is actually secondary; I have tested a theory & results are within acceptable range… thank you for going through this process with me! =D
