Last nite was interesting, cos I actually was chit chatting with Garren, who’s 8year old… in bed until he decided he’s tired & need to sleep… it was quite adulty actually… we chatted abt school work, church friends, etc… it was cool!
I woke up to find breakfast ready… nice pancakes with banana! Yumm! I was just checking my work emails n catching up abit, then my little Princess Glenda (6yrs old), woke up & walked over to me & greeted me “Gd Morning Kuku!” still rubbing her sleepy eyes… Awwww…. So sweet this little darling!
Anyway, we head for Bishan Swimming complex with Natti (domestic helper). The kids were so excitable lah!! Non stop giggling n very hyper lah!
Alas I had to leave earlier despite Garren’s pestering for me to stay longer to play Waveboard with him! He asked if I will return to stay over again tonite after my dinner appt but I couldn’t… haiz…
Anyway, met starry stella at Bugis at 2pm & we enroute to buy our dinner ingredients…
1st stop, alighted at Simei Mrt, but do have wat I want – had lunch & walked home.
2nd stop, home – dumped my heavy bag at home
3rd stop, walked to market, bought a marketing trolley
4th stop, walked passed my house & head for Tamp Mall NTUC, bot the groceries
5th stop, walked back home from interchange. By this time, I was really exhausted from all the walking! My sore ankle was starting to act up n ached quite abit… plus I was feeling extremely Sleepy from the swimming & crazy baby sitting!
By this time, it was already approaching 5pm! Have been routing here n there for the past 3hrs!! OMG! Set down to prepare dinner!
Ingredients:
-Vege (Cute Baby Potato, Orangy Carrot, Pump Pumpkin, Greeny Brussel sprout)
-Seasoning (Mixed Herbs, Sea Salt, Grounded Black Pepper, lightly squashed Garlic, Olive Oil)
-Meat – 1 X Very Cheeky Chicken
-Impt: 1X Lemon, cut the Lemon nipples off from both ends & “stab” it all over with a knife or fork!
Actually impromptu, I roughly knew what I wanna cook n how to cook it, but still I consulted Jamie.O. Well, according to him, we have to roast the cheeky chicken for abt 1h20mins! WOW! So long?!
Anyway, roughly the steps as follows… everything is 随意(随便你的意思) , as per ur wishes n likes… including the measures of the ingredient – we also call this either: “Go by Feeling” or “Agar-ration”.
K, Let's get to work!
1. Preheat the “Tanning SpaceShip” to 240C for at least 20mins
2. Wash n cut the vege!
2.Tease the Cheeky Chicken!
3.Give it a gd massage with seasoning prepared!
4. Ok, if u ask me Massage for how long....?
Ans: When u feel that the massage is getting alittle to Anal for ur liking,
it's time to stop for the ultimate!
5. Shaft the Stabbed Lemon up Cheeky’s….
ahemm… there’s only 1 place to shaft it up lah!!
6. Get Cheeky into the Tanning position, on top of the vege!
remb to rub the vege with the seasoned Olive Oil too!
7. Pop it in at 210C! Tanning session last at least 1hr!
8. Remb to turn cheeky chicken ard!
9. Baste the Vege with Cheeky Juice if it dries up
(can remove vege 1st if it’s already cooked).
10. Tada!!
Although it looks alittle white, it's goodness is within!

I must say my improvision is not too bad lah! Considering it's my virgin try! kekek!
Anyway, the Lemon is impt, it made Cheeky really tender, have not eaten so tender Breast meat before…. With a tinge of faint Lemon freshness! Yummy!
Cooking is really fun when u have gd friends who savour ur hard work with u!
