团圆饭Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner!

It's YUMMY 团圆饭 today!
YAY!

I love this time of the year, only becos we can have steam boat at home and everyone's together to have dinner at the same table!

As our family grow bigger (in numbers and in SIZE), this year me and Xiong had to take turns to squeeze our chopsticks in to get our food! I'm not complaining! It makes eating more fun and somehow even simple dump-whatever-food-into-that-boiling-broth tasted especially YUMMY!

Check out our sumptuous Steamboat dishes! We have the traditional Teochew Wu Xiang, 福州 fish ball and Hakka's 算盘子 (abacus) made by Uncle Nicholas (Al's Dad)!

I contributed my last bottle of BROWN BROTHERS CIENNA 2007... Sob Sob! But for good cause lah! So dun care! Every1 loved the wine and kept asking for seconds! SORRY! While stock last and within 15 mins, the lucky ones were happily sipping away!

I love my Family!

Loh Hei 捞鱼生 with my family is my favorite activity! I love the feeling of everyone being noisy, all at once! My family is usually very quiet, with the exception of the youngest daughter,Moi , of course! So I welcome the change to hear everyone cheer loudly!
