Soya's New World!: OFF Day! So many things to do!! n Creamie

It's my OFF day yet I have so many things to complete today!

First up, I met Cousin May at HDB Tampines to settle the last few matters of Auntie Sammi's estate issues... finally gona be done soon! We all miss Mummy... Haiz.. was telling May that Mummy would have been really proud of Cousin Ming's fantastic results!

Met up with Al for BF at Mac's, havent had Mac's for so long man! Niceeee....

We set off to do my shopping for my OPERATION BAKE-A-CAKE-AFTER-DONKEY-YEARS!
Bought
-3 Lock-n-Lock containers ($40!!) WTF! (I am becoming more and more like an OBASAN!)
-2 X Baking Tins
-1X Stainless Stain Mixing bowl
-Flour, Chocolat Chips, butter, brown suger, icing sugar
- Bunch of Banananana
DAMAGE: $90+
*FAINT* I still wanna get alot of stuff: Muffin tins, Round baking tin, Baking Recipe Books.... Gosh! Why din I bring them all back!? Or rather, why din I ask for them!?! Actually I know I wouldnt, it's a Pride issue I guess.... Now I'll have to start my collection all over again! *HAIZ*

Anyway, I didnt think my Banana (chocolate, last minute decided to dump in the chips) cake taste as good as before... quite disappointed with myself, even Linda n my dad said so.... I narrowed down to a few reasons:

1) Lack of practise
2) Mixer not the professional baking type ( I was having some problem fiddling with it)
3) Oven not the baking type, more the roasting type though the instructions said it can be used for baking cakes n cookies (I was practically sitting by the oven, turning the tray around, increasing and decreasing the temperature whenever necessary)
4) Wrong type of banana used (usually I buy those supermarket DelMonto kind... just needed 2.5 large bananas will do, this time I got those normal makan banana)

But but.... Sweet Al said it is very nice to him already... though I really dont think so... and I duno if he was just trying to comfort me... he looked sincere...
But he's not a very cake person... only occasional craving...

DRAMA! While I was baking, Creamie decided to 离家出走! OMG!
The wind was so strong that it blow the wooden partition we put across the gate ajar.... and ... and.... Creamie 离家出走-ed!

Maybe it was telepathy! I was actually in the kitchen with the kitchen sliding glass door closed, I suddenly sense amiss, I put down my mixer (yes, I was mixing butter and sugar half way), went to the living room and saw Cookie sitting high up the chair, looking over the partition. I kept calling for Creamie, but she didnt appear (which is quite normal actually), I closed the door, shouted for Al is come outa room and help me find creamie in the living room... Then after 45secs, I noticed that Cookie is still looking at the door when it was already closed... so I went into the room, took the snack /treat container, open the door and partition, I shook the container and called for Creamie again...
My Darling Creamie then nonchalantly strolled in through the gate and looked at me dreamily, and waited for the treat... I quickly closed the door and hugged her, my legs went jelly and sat on the floor... I repeated told her not to scared Mummy like this ever again...

At this point, Al can still say it's ok, at least she came back already! I literally screamed at him: "WHAT IF SHE DOESNT!"
He can still say: " Then 1 less cat to feed lor!" HMPH!
Darling, you are really not good at comforting pple lah... *POUT*

Through this incident, I realised that my Babies have only me... and me alone, they dun have AhGong (My papa), AhMah (Linda), AhChek(BroEdwards), or UncleAlvin... they only have me... and only I belong to them... Haiz... Sorry Darling Creamie, Mummy should have been more attentive towards you.

Today, so many things happened...
-I baked,
-Creamie 离家出走-ed
-My most precious asset: Jude (my Lappy), was handled by another male Human being...

Al has readily offered to help me reformat my computer....
He's the 1st guy to lay hands on Jude, 1st 1 to get up close & personal with my Jude(other than Mr.Starhub-Cable-Guy). I entrusted him with my personal stuff, old photos, bookmark/favourites that i surfed. He did a more than Fantastic job on it... he couldnt even rest properly while waiting for the updates to complete... Poor thing...

Thanks dearie, I am very grateful and glad to see your dedication to get it done properly...
Thanks for showing me you are a responsible guy...

Oh, and to make up for the lousy comment he made abt Creamie’s adventure, he got up cosy with her too!
