Watched *Mulan* with my Papa n Linda today! WOW!

Supa Nice... I cried & cried.. at the war scene... the brotherhood.... the romance... the injuried...
I think I can relate better to the movie cos of my experience in the navy...

My Papa n Linda supa Heartless lah! They still can ask me, "AIYOH! Why your eyes so swollen! U cry so much for what! Movie only what!" PIANG! I emotional cannt ah!

Actually I really likey the drama series version by Anita Yuen (袁咏仪) n Chiu Man Cheuk (赵文卓)

it's 48 episode & i watched EVERY single one of it, recorded from SCV...

Plus... when it was telecasted on Channel 8, 2 mths - I watched EVERY single episode again!

& of cos, Laughed at the same jokes... cried at the same scenes...

Send off Mr.Ironman at the airport today... impromptu cos couldnt decide...

What if I am not the only girl to send him off?! Will I get him into trouble?! Will I embarrass myself... aiyoh!

Anyway... flights at 1750H, means have to check in ard 1550H. I reached at 1610H thinking that the procedures would be done so I can peek & see if he's "alone"... Alas... couldnt find the whole gang... so bo bian... cant surprised or "shield" myself liao... had to call him...

Topo-ed my way to T3 from T1... confusing for Hollan Queen Soya... but smarty pantz Soya never fails!

Found him finally cos he said at Food Court.... quick headcount of the table... only 2 girls... sporty looking ones... VERY sporty looking ones (I later learnt that 1 doing Ironman, the other was in some national team...now doing ultra marathons...OUCH)!

Couldnt tell who's with who.. who's accompanying who... went to get a drink... he came along... I complained that I needed a drink... feeling very hot as I walked very fast... he can tease me somemore... "Why u so Hot?", "Walked very fast lah!","Kekeke!" I knew what he meant, I think he could see that I was Blushing...(*^_^*) badly... my head was like on FIRE lah! F**K! CMI Lah Soya! Like that also can Paiseh!

Anyway,I asked the million dollar question: (cant remb the exact words but....)

"ermm...Will I cause you any trouble/inconvenience by coming to send u off today?"
"No ah... why leh?"
"Any1 came to send u off?"

"No leh... oh, got 1 friend lah, she came to send off everyone... " ("She"...Hmmm...)

"Sure or not! Not send u ah?!"

"No lah! Every1, she said she didnt even know I'll be here...." (Phew....)

But got cold stare from the other girl, who's going together... she's taking part in the Ironman too! OMG! IRONWOMAN - Salute! Weird... she not very friendly with me leh... I learnt that they used to train together, running & climbing ard Jun/Jul period.... duno what happened after that lah...

Anyway... he walked with me... we chit chatted randomly & with his friends...

Reached the gate liao... every1 hugging every1... he seemed abit shy.. but he extended his arm signalling a hug... so I returned the Hug lah... he said "Hey, thanks for coming!" I said "Hey, No problem, Jia You k! Gd Luck!"

Immediately once they all went in, his other gal friend turned & asked me "So you are A's friend?"

"Oh yes, I dun know the rest of them... I only met them just"

"I mean, are u A's girlfriend?"
"Oh No no... Just friend..." =D I went on to explain that I stay quite near airport & work from home + he said no one sending him off, so I came etc etc...

I duno why I got so gan jiong... mayb cos I duno WHO this person is... whose side she is from....

Anyway, he left me with a killer sentence: "So I dun have to msg u liao hor! Keke!"

ok lor, since he said he will msged me when he's leaving today... & since I am here already... of cos he dun have to msg me liao lah! Fair, But.... Slam the head lah!

But anyway, he did lah.... to thank me again... =)

& he did again when he arrived safely in Aus.... Niceee... =)

Thanksgiving + Haji holiday mood!

I never use them though I always think I'll try them... I guess still can keep for a while lah... but I think I'll throw the Summer's Eve Feminie Wash n Wipes away lah! Si-ka-li when really "emergency" (you know, that kind of emergency!) need to freshen up, got weird smell instead how?! Both me & the other party will Faint lah!! Throw THROW!!

Ok, I finally weight less than 54kg...after centuries (so long I really cant remb when was the last time I weigh like...) since Sec 2, I have ballooned to 58kg & over the years just hovering ard 55kg - 58kg... that's a 15yrs record mind u!

Interesting discovery! Actually Ellen told me before but I refused to believe!

I woke up late this morning (not very late actually, 6.45am), I quickly washed up and prepare their food, before I even prepare my morning fix of hot Earl Grey tea! My furKids have better life than me!
Then I prepare to Start my work!

I got a stickies prog from zhornsoftware , it's like 3M Post-it-note, except this is free, not trial ware & sticks on your desktop/prog/documents!

Have been looking for 1 the past few days & I am so blessed, 2 days later the Strait Times Digital Life wrote abt it!

So now my desktop loook like this:

I "Copy/Paste" biblical quotations & trading principle to guide myself... Must stay grounded, not greedy with profit... must have faith that His plans are for me to prosper! I update it every now & then from the church's newsletter subscription & read multiple times when I work! So far so good!

I managed to catch a swim at the Pool, today is alittle bit earlier than usual, i reached at abt 11.30am & started my swim. I told myself  that everytime I make the effort to go down to TP, I must at least do 30 laps! I struggled internally & did my 40 laps yest & it took me 53mins! Goosh.... very slow compared to when I was training for Tri-factor! Mental Note: Must improve!

Went to meet Gary (my ex-colleague from bank) at the Tamp branch opp TP. Saw the Operations Mgr and some of the staff! Ok, I dun like this, but bo bian, have to PR abit lah!

"OMG! Soya! You are so dark now! What did you do!?"
"Heehee, how are u? Oh, i just came from a swim & the sun was Up & Cheery!"
"So what are u doing now? Found a job yet?"
"Erm... never go find job leh... relax abit 1st..."
"u left abt 2 months already right? Never find job!? Gd life lah! U upgrade be Tai tai liao ah! No need to work?!"
"No leh, nobody wanna marry me so cannt be Tai Tai... I wan to rest abit more 1st lah!"

I guess they also duno how to continue this conversation... I stopped just there & do not wish to explain further... I find it a chore to explain to pple what I am doing or rather what I am working towards... I feel that they will not understand... so I cant be bothered...

Went for jog with Ellen today.... did our usual 8km....
Suddenly i realised that our "usual" has become 8km lor! LOL! Since when siah?!
Anyway, decent timing despite the fact that we were still teeny bit aching from Sunday's run... it took us abt the usual timing of 50mins30sec... our best by far was 49+ mins... COOL!

We are ready for SCM! YAY!

Since I have been "cured" of my insomnia... I have been fighting the ZZZ monster every morning to wake at 6.30am! After a few days, I know I am exhausted & so I hit the sack by 11pm every nite, still the morning battle to hard to win!

I ended up Snoozing for the next 10-15mins until Nugget wakes me up by pounding on my ahemmm.... chest(when lying vertical is chest, standing horizontal is Breast)...still it's OUCH!
Anyway, Starry said I have been sleeping well cos of my Pretty Mood recently! I think it's true too! Work is on track... happy with the progress! Soya, 你一定要成功!

Finally after 1 whole week of hard work, my DEMO trading account (means using Mock $$$) is back in the Greens! PHEW! Jia yOu!

Wed Today:

I had abit of an adventure today... did my 1st trade using REAL MONEY! Hard CASH! $$$! Within 1.5hrs, I lost $61. Bleah... my hard earned cash! I took this as the "Baptism of FIRE", maybe all traders will go thru this?! I duno, but I will not give up!

Had another open position... so monitor it the whole day.... including when I left home to go for the exhibition! Decided to go for this exhibition since last friday, actually planned for tmr, but today decided to go!

Brought WangWang with me, fully charged and READY to fight the battle! Logged onto the Net throughout the journey... lost the connection when the train went underground, logged on again, kena logged out again... OMG! Faint!

Anyway... the real adventure today was visiting this: GIFTS FROM THE SEA at L2 Space!

Interesting venue for the exhibition, it's @Tanjong Pagar Distripark, just opp the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

It's unimaginable enroute to the exhibition room....

It's more like a warehouse, with a room that houses the exhibits.

I immediately plunked my butt onto the sofa , it's right under the aircon, so I sat there for abt 10mins... watched my trading charts for a while... The lady manning the place asked if I was waiting for some1... & I said "nope, just need some time to finish up some work before I can enjoy the exhibits..."

Yes yes, I did just that! Right smack at 6.30pm! OMG!

Luckily I managed to throw myself into the MRT carriage at Tanjong Pagar... half the crowd got off at the next stop Raffles Place & immediately a new crowd throw themselves onto the pple who were already in the carriage... in case you are getting confused her... just know that there were alot of pple throwing themselves onto other pple! PERIOD! OMG!

Anyway... I survived... & i just rembed one more reason why I am doing what I am doing now...

To work at a place, away - FAR FAR AWAY from these office slogger...

& of cos, my usual policy: Dun succumb to the norm, Soya! (i'll try as hard as i can k!)

I could never understand why these pple work so hard.... they start work at 8 or 9am... many of them leave the office at 8-9pm (mayb they stayed back to avoid the main crowd, or act busy, or claim overtime, or have company affair with colleague or boss.... watever the reason.... I just refused to believe that they are actually working!

C'mon! Kid me not! Work can never end! No matter how late you worked till, or how much you try to finish your work, when u come back in the next day at 9am - a ton of work will be waving "Hello" at you from your desk! So my working policy has always been this:

Work can never finish, the only thing that will finish faster is....YOU!

Either u die from working, or your boss decided that since u finished the work, you are not required anymore!

Either way - u are finished! So - never try to finish your work!

Work hard (when the boss is looking!), Play even Harder(when u have bribed ur boss's secretary)! keke!

I dun have a boss now, so I can bloody blog abt it.... those holding a job- dun try!

Anyway, I indulged in MacDonald's today... blimey! That's how bad my wallet is damaged from the meal...

1 Double cheese burger meal, upsize (so that I can have the Seaweed fries) + change drinks to Green Tea = $6.75! WTF! $6.75?! What happened to $5 MacDonald's meal man?!

As you have guessed, been a long time since i had Mac meal... ok, or rather I notice the price...it's crazy...

I must have the seaweed fries!

By this time, I was still watching the market... I realised that I cant eat french fries with my left hand... or at least I cant aim... kept missing the curry sauce & dip the fries into the tray instead! Bleah!

Went back, bathed & watched the market... enough is enough for today...

I closed the position.... tally for today -$61, +$50 = ($11)

Not too bad... at least cover the loss abit! Tmr will be better! YAY!
