Finally finally...
thank you all who are so concern abt my well being, the sleepless nights... causing abit of anemia in me (almost black out twice last nite after I stood up from a squat-down position.... noooo, i wasnt doing the toilet biz... I was playing with Creamie n Nugget)!

Haiz.. anyway, after much searching online.... i tot my last opinions would be:
1) Pay $$$ Upgrade my lappy OS - NOoooooooooooo!
2) Use another PC to sync (where to find?)
3) of cos the last resort is to sell the HP!

Yes.... such drastic measures cos I've had enough....

Until I came upon a few forum toks with the "fruit vendor"...
Pple were having the same problem as me, almost EXACT! YAHHHOOOO! I am not the only one! Phew! Some relief!!!

But the happiness stopped short when only few successfully resolved the problem, many did not...
Worst of all, many forum posting were targeted at the "fruit vendor" that they are irresponsible & did not attempt to resolve the problem or provide technical help.

That nite, I dreamt...
1) I will uninstall the current version (latest) iTunes & ask ard if anyone had an older version of it.
(Newly posted versions usually had some glitch unresolved).


2) If failed, I will find alternative comp/laptop to sync my MePhone.

I think I abit 走火入魔 already... sleep also dream of Fruits.... damn!

Next day, the 1st person I met was my FX mentor, Eric, & i casually asked if he has a copy of the older version (he's an iPhone fan). These days pple usually download new progs & run it on the spot, nobody saves the .Exe file on their computer anymore, Nobody except for me (i usually will replace the old 1 with the new)... or so I thought....

Eric is the other person... wuahahah! Luckily me! I casually asked & he say: "Yah... I think I still have it in my laptop, let me see.... (starts searching the files in his lappy)... yah... there u go!"

So last nite, I showered (cool my angry head).... dressed in cooling clothes (in case i get heated up again)... sat at my lappy &:
1) uninstall the Latest version
2) uninstall all the add ons (like Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple device support etc.- all the Fruity pple out there... u'll knw what I mean if u see ur installed prog list)
3) reboot lappy
4) Install older version of iTune
5) Reboot lappy
6) Poke my Orange MePhone's buttocks with the USB
7) Pray very very hard!!!

1st try... unsuccessful... told me got 1 file is the newer version than my current version, cant read the file. i tot when I uninstall a prog, all the files related to it willbe deleted!?! Did a search & found few folders created by iTunes... deleted the files & folders. Start all over again....

2nd try:
1) uninstall the old version
2) uninstall all the add ons (like Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple device support etc.- all the Fruity pple out there... u'll knw what I mean if u see ur installed prog list)
3) reboot lappy
4) Install older version of iTune
5) Reboot lappy

I was too tired to try.... when to sleep after that... decided that I have abused my lappy very much for the past 2 weeks.... making it work from 7-7pm & 9-12am almost every weekday...

Morning... went to "work".... poke my MePhone.... *PRAY very hard no error msg*.
Nothing happened for the next agonising 2 minutes... open iTunes...
"welcome - Soya's Orange MePhone" greeted me!

still skeptical.... tried to do some stuff.... download apps.... sync songs (playlist)... check the photos..... made 2 ringtones....

VIOLA!

So happy! Now I have some interesting Apps.... still thinking abt getting the WatsApp for sms - actually i dun sms all that much.. those Fruit Lovers friends also dun sms me that much.... but i guess it's a worth it investment. =D

Importantly, i managed to meet my objective of buying the "fruit".... do my trading work on the go! It's great! Simply great! Not the best... that would be a little handy Netbook or those clutch size netbook....

But it's really GREAT! I can check my position (though if I am out enjoying & having a losing position will make me grumpy for a bit, but winning position I can treat makan!) plan my day out more objectively (i practically live with my lappy now)!

I've got an Orange MePhone!

I finally succumbed to the "Fruit Vendor"... haiz... but according to my bestie, Starry, I am the only 1 she knows who is *%I*&%*&^$#@^ the fruit vendor's products, the fuji Apple iPhone.

Ok, I got it cos of some promotion, also managed to "squeeze" some discount off my Sunshine Service provider... I actually had to resort to using this statement:

"How long have I been your customer?"

"Erm... 6yrs, 4mths and 23 days..?"

"Great, 6yrs, 4mths and 23 days AND this is ALL that you can do for me?! C'mon!"

So.... was I the unreasonable or tyrant customer?! I said it in a decent tone, I wasnt even sounding pissed - ok, mayb a little sacarastic... but I meant no-harm-asking what!?!

So, it was delivered to my house & little did i know this was the start of e nightmare I have been experiencing for the past few days since Thursday.

Thursday: Got the phone delivered to my doorsteps.

  

Frankly, I was alittle thrilled n excited but after I poke it with the USB, it kept prompting me error "syncserver has stoppped working" etc etc "itunes is not able to load sync provider blah blah blah" repeatedly.... error, pissed.

I troubleshoot the problem till abt 3am...

Friday: Good friday public holidays, so cant do much, tried again, accidentally erased all my contacts in the phone from previous sync (gmail). Luckily for me, I actually spent 2 weekends cleaning up my contacts n migrating them to gmail - getting them back in my phone was seamless. but still that created abit of HooHah at my friend's place (where we were having a great time playing wii). I had to borrow the computer & google how to "fetch or Push" it back to my Mephone.

I troubleshoot the problem till abt 4am...

Sat: Morning jog - 20km but feel very naked jogging at ECP cos dun have phone with me, my fav armband cant fit the MePhone in. Damn. I wished I could use the MePhone app with GPS to track my workout & pacing!

Needed a cover/protection badly, after getting jellied legs from running the 20km, i tramped the whole of TampOne, Tamp Mall, push cart btw Tamp bus int n TampOne, back to TampOne n finally decided on this cover. I considered to settle for those Push cart ones, but Screen protector is $10, badly manufractured chiong silicion cover is $10, that makes $20. I could get a better Made-In-China one from Challenger!

I had wanted something GREEN or ORANGE in colour. in the end, I got both my wishes: Tadah!
I hate the Mirror Screen protector though, but since it comes with the package (2 free somemore!!), dun complain!

Anyway, still having problem sync-ing with itunes. Everyone tells me it's idiot proof, just plug in the USB, itunes will detect n viola! Well, then I am beyond idiocy...

Googled for a long time, read all the forums wrt this matter.... decided to reformat my computer to try (since I've got another problem IP address hijack due to some trojan horse virus)


I troubleshoot the problem till abt 3am....

Sunday: Restored most of the stuff, tried again on Sunday morning. Alas, still same error though my virus n IP address hijack problem is resolved.

Bo bian, called M1 tech support. Ding Dong for at least 8 call backs (IT help had to call me back several times as they cant resolve the prob. In the end, advised me to go dwn to Paragon M1 to find the those Sunnny pple....
I shower & piah down to M1 , waited 1.5hrs for my turn, another 2 hrs for the trouble shooting-left my lappy there while me n starry went for desserts (she claims that Chocolate has got soothing effects n can calm my troubled soul....)

After a cool 3.75hrs, the problem still cant be resolved. argh.
I am down with an operational NOT-ready Orange MePhone. Says who it's idiot proof! The Sunny pple read all the articles that I read online & still cant resolve my problem! argh!

My conclusion: It's Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit version that is having some glitch/bugs. I have encountered similar cases like this with my old phone. But it's a gd lappy!

So now, i managed to work ard the problem, unorthodox method - catch the sync before it prompt the error & sync most of the impt stuff.

I am currently down with some feverish feeling & cold sweat so resting... enough troubleshooting...

I still have to learn how to do these things, somebody teach me if you know k!

1) Read word, excel, PDF doc attachment on my Orange MePhone .. All my recording, recipes are in these formats! Help!
2) Sync some photos over!
3) Learn how to change tunes for ringtones, I am paranoid now cos I cant wake up (different alarm tones), cant hear my phone calls n sms! HELP!
4) Back up all the apps I downloaded.

YEP! that's all I can think of now....

Shd I succumb to being NORMAL?

I have been toying with this idea of getting a new phone-mainly for trading-on-the-go purpose.

Reasons:
1) My LG Windows Mobile HP's processor is too slow & lagging...
Apparently, LG had oversell their promise, LIFE IS definitely not GOOD with them!

2) I need a Operating System that is compatible with my trading softwares (there are mainly 2).
Either a WM or iPhone or at least gd platform for surfing net.

3) Upgrade to Data Plan, but my current mobile service provider SUCKs at Mobile Boardband (USD Doggle), I actually told them that I no longer wanna WALK ON SUNSHINE with them! So if i duno if I wanna stick to them further.

But but....
they are giving me an gd offer. In order for them to clear their iPhone stock (for the new POWER 4G iPhones -expecting 3rd qtr), i dun need to top up $100 to get a new phone & since it's an upgrading of plan - I can restart the contract.... but of cos I will be stuck with them again for another 2 yrs....

But hor... knowing me... i had refused to succumb to all the WHITE APPLE craze!
1) I have an iPod (cos it was a gift)
2) I look those pple no up if they dun do graphics but die die wan a MacBook!
3) I had by far managed to stop myself from succumbing to the iPhone craze.... until now...

I would love to have a iPad - as the name suggested already, it's made for the LADIES!!!
Looks like my most immediate choice of HP would be the iPhone! Cos my fav HTC is mainly Andriod platform & i duno how it the OS is!

But, having only been able to carass the iPhone for the 1st time on Mon... I realised that my refusal to succumb to the norm (which is to use the iPhone for games)... I didnt even know how to unlock or locate the keypad to make a call! *FAINT* so paiseh!!!

So So.... should I finally allow myself to be "normal?"... will that mean I am no longer "Special?"

What have I been busy with?

Havent have time to blog the past week... I havent even got time to sleep!

Today I woke as usual ard 7am, fed my babies, LS, went back to sleep, in btw woke up reply smses, doze in & outa dreamland till 1.30pm- dragged meself outa bed! I guess this is what they call  "恶补"
"恶-Revengefully", "补- Payback/return"! I need to payback my sleep deficit!!!

Seriously, what have i been busy with?

Doing these:

It's damn chim... took me a few hrs just to analysis 1 chart.... 2 -3 hrs bah... & i ended up eating into my sleeping hrs... u know me, I need 6hrs survive, 7hrs to not be cranky, 8hrs to be in my prettiest mood.... so 5-6hrs each nite for the past week is SOOOooooo damn not enough!!

Anyway, i survived... that's y i needed the more than 12hrs sleep today! Wuahahah! so shiok! this record was held too long ago! =D

In the midst of doing all these, i managed to find myself a few new working "colleagues", running buddies... all in the name of doing what we wanna do in our lives... we are taking the plunge many feared to do so.... wish all of us luck man!!

Life is so fragile.... ironic even.
I attended a birthday celebration of my fren's father in the evening... he's ill with Stage 4 cancer, probably part of the 冲喜  plans, they had a buffet celebration at the house & invited a few relatives & friends.

The mood was relaxed but tensed at the same time, my friend's father was visibly bald from the chemo, bloated (liver, stomach cancer), swollen legs (probably from liver weakening). We were careful with the words to use but wanna lighten the mood.

We left at ard 8pm when the house was overcrowding with guests & everyone was happily filled in the tummy.

Adjourned to a funeral wake. Another friend's father had fallen sick the last week & passed on suddenly-gastric cancer. The sensitive thing was that both of these friends knew of each other's case cos we hang out together, we are good friends. One is 白事 (funeral) one is 红事 (celebration) - both: cancer in the stomach region. As friends, it's sensitive to reveal too much details to each side....

If u are with someone, tell the person u LOVE him/her,
If u have not tell ur family members that u love them, pls do so within the next few days...

Ok- confession: I cant tell my family member in the face (OMG! So mushy!) But i'm gona write them a card, leave it on the kitchen table & "tell" them! Oh, u get the idea!
As for my kiddos Creamie n Nugget, I jus told them the millionth time 10mins ago! wuahahah!

Busy Bee... Cutesy kids...

Have been rather busy lately, & will be for the next couple of weeks due some trading work to be done. *Pray*pray* for a great outcome thereafter! YAY!

Havent been able to run as diligently as before, & for the past week, did not even swim once! OMG! The week before - only once! Damn!

Today did my slightly longer run finally... 18km for 2hrs 3mins. one word - SHAGGED.
Damn! But when I keyed into my trg log for the week, I was pleasantly surprised that though I did like 14km, 10km, 8km etc way lesser than my required, I hit 59.4km this week! Wauuu! Scary... i think this is my most. this week only didnt run on Fri n Sat.

Finally finished watching this taiwanese drama series...
Lotsa agony watching this cos my internet connection is too slow to watch at nite n wkends. So can only watch in the day time.... but also gd lah, accompany me when I am doing work online. =D

It's a nice drama, funny but lotsa tears also, is it cos I'm a cry baby?! Anyway, I love the actress Cheryl Yang, very natural. Funny she alwis act roles that depict her a older woman, successful, shrewd but kind hearted deep down, then have to overcome dating some1 younger.... she looks young leh, though not the bubblegum candy kinda SweetYoungThing. =D

The one on the extreme right is Cheryl Yang 楊謹華.

She acted in the previous drama I watched: My Queen / 敗犬女王.

I specially searched for the drama acted by her & came upon this series... she's cute lah. Oh, I found out she's born in 1977. Means she is 33 yrs old this year, no wonder she has a mature stylo milo elegant look n air abt her... =D Likey her!

This one really made me cry buckets.... even when in between I had to pause the movie to change screen to check on my trading... even when I am watching from my lappy n minimised window of abt 4" wide... my tshirt was at least soaked in tears n heavier by 35%. *Sniff*

Everyone, keep me in ur prayers... I spent the past week worrying abt my future, my work, $ mainly. So much so that i was not even motivated to train, skipped training, purposing sleeping in later than usual, giving myself 1 million n 1 reason to skip training or leaving the house.

Hope my work will be smooth going, fingers crossed...  traded 2 days this week liao... so far it's rated decent or mayb even gd. The thing abt trading is this. it's never abt money.... cos if I am right, money is just a by-product of the method I used. the tricky part is this, method is not 100%, in fact, it's probably only abt 5%. Strange it may sound, but it's 95% psychological... 

I alwis believe there is no fool proof method/strategy to do trading, it's really individual's style. If trading can be 100% mechanical, human would have come up with a system or software, auto trade, why do we still need analysts, bankers, brokers, trader to manual do the work?

Analysis is Psychological, market forces is driven by human sentiment. We all read recently that Sterling Pound (GBP) is at the 1 yrs' low. Sentiment is THROW all the pounds that u are holding of cos!! No 1 wants to hang on to a sinking boat! Technically, it's only 1yrs low - it simply means that 13 mths ago, this was not the case. Is Pound really weak Fundamentally? No, but still it will drop like crazy. This is FEAR.

Same thing as New Highs in the market.  U BELIEVE it will go higher... U BUY more cos this is the market sentiment, but what happened to the possible BUBBLE BURST? Still people worry and consider abt it, but majority still BUY! This is GREED.

Fear n greed drives the Market, not fundamentals.As a trader, I dun wanna care abt fundamentals. I only wanna know what do every one feel & i will hop onto the same wagon going towards the General direction! Dun swim against the current in other words! 

On the other hand, I must not get too sentimental... esp with company stocks... i may knw that this company is very gd etc, fundamentals etc, good ratings, earnings, P/E etc. But what really matters is whether the chart is nice looking or not! So what if the chart pattern is not very nice? Drop it! U may have heard this"but but.... fundamentals very gd leh! Sure will go up 1!" Who can guarantee? I dun  care even what the company does etc. Cos if the chart is nt nice, cfm the company not gd! If the chart is good looking, cfm the company gd - even if I dun know WTF the company does! The chart reveals the Market sentiments of the company already! Dun need fundamentals!
