Day 4 (2Jul) HKG

Had BF@ the hotel’s café.

Took MTR to Central MTR & took a bus to the Stanley’s Market.

The ride to Stanley's (reminds me of Amalfi coast in Rome, Italy) was an adventure! Winding coastal roads with width barely enough for 1 bus! I shrieked inside of me everytm e opp direction vehicle come towards me & pass me by 5cm distance! Aiks! It's winding left & right, going up& downhill too! I took e advice to take an upper deck seat & i 'cleverly' took e front seat too! Like a Roller Coaster ride! Their driving skills DAMN GD AH! =) But I felt abit of Motion Sickness by the time I arrived at the Stanley Market… Tahan!!!

Stanley Mkt is more like Bugis Village with little shops selling touristy Tshirts, quite abit of 'Art Galleries'! Frm Posh shops (tat offers FEDEX to ur country of residence) to small shops which offers containers for u to roll up e Artwk! To me, all work, regardless of cost, is considered 'ART'. Frm a piece of child's drawing(those u put it on e Fridge) to street vendors who offers to drink ur Caricature for a fee! Art comes in different form! Art in e eye of e Beholder!

What I fancy most of Stanley Market was the Promenade walk. Imagine throwing hoops at the basketball court with e sea/beach as ur bkdrop! =) Alittle like Beachside walk, very nice! Nice houses too! E Rich & famous live &play here!

I stopped by to chit chat with a Caucasian lady walking her Alaskan Malamute Mix. Big dog,surely she lives here! I asked her abt where to get pet stuff in HKG etc! Chit Chat etc,nice...so nice to stopped by for smting familar-Pets(FurKids! Made me miss Creamie loads!) & English!

Thereafter, I took the Minibus back to Causeway Bay! Topo to take Bus40! Amazing Experience! No standing allowed onboard, so e driver will signal to e pple @ e bustop how many seats are left, when the bus is Full, he will hang a sign (like hw Taxi Drivers put their Destination).


There's a Giant Indicator overhead e driver for all to see! It tells passenger hw fast e driver is driving! Watever for?! The road is so winding driver maneuvers skillful @ each hairpin bend, but only with only his right hand! Cos the irony ting is-he needs his left hand to hold on to a Bar built beside him, for balance when negotiating e Bend! V safe indeed!

Did abit of shopping at Causeway Bay: H&M n UNIQLO. It's like TanjongPagar(offices + shophouses). Since I am on the mission to drink lotz water & herbal tea to rid of the ulcers & prevent constipation, my strategy would be to visit every toilet possible at the shopping malls, before I down more liquid!

I took the off beaten track towards harbour... & discovered Cannon St, which was nt mentioned@all in any of the info i had gathered! It's like a mini Petshop lane! Petshops on both side of this lane selling Livestock: Puppies (teeny 1s) & Kittens(different breeds). I lost myself in the animal world. The cages are so cheap compared to Singapore! OMG! Wish I could bring them back with me! Actually I could if I had more help! They are not that heavy but rather bulky. What a waste!

I had a very yummy lunch @this roadside stall! HKG$24, i get to choose 3 frm abt 15 different ingredients! So Glass noodle soup with
1) Beef Meet Balls
2) Pork skin
3) WantonFree KangKong vege(loads)! Yummy! Still,$24 is considered exp lor!

The standard of living in HKG(Causeway Bay) must be rather high like if u work in Town Area Singapore. The pple who worked in tis area eat there! I knw cos i followed them! Keke! I aimed, saw 2 shopping centre retail girls in uniform (they carried this small tote bag- which a S'porean OL would call this e Lunch bag). I “stalked” them & found where e locals eat! They walked thru e Creaks btw e shops! Keke! It was 3+pm by then liao! I was Famished!

I took MTR back to Central MTR & ventured into LiYuen St, Still ok lah! Noting much-another Bugis Junction styled market/street.

Walked to e Lower Peak Tram Terminus. Lucky for Octupus Card, not only it's our Ezlink card, it allows a centralised system for taking e Peak Tram & entering e SkyPeakTower(pay to get to e tallest point to see 360degree). Oh, octupus card gets huge discounts! Actually quite cheap! HKD$22+$11(Peak Tram Up &down),$22(Entry). So effectively only abt SGD$12 for 2 attractions?! Cheap! In S'pore, it would have easily cost $20 for entry for 1 attraction! Only e Parks in Singapore are Free!

Saw the electric tram... but dun dare to take! Cos I duno whether board in front of behind of the tram! I observed for a while by the roadside... I think it's from the rear of the tram! Wuahaha! Still I didnt take it!

I Love e Scenery! Weather cooled dwn a little, the sky looks alittle dark though. Can see the little swimming pools at the “condos” like our River Valley apartments in the rich estates!

The Tram ride dwn e Peak is rather awkward, it goes bkwards!!?! Like taking those Amusement rides! Wuahah! Quite fun when the elevation can reach like 45 degrees? Kekek!

I took the MTR to TsimShaTsui MTR, enroute I passed by a group of students who just finished performing to the "sea"... I love to catch the locals at their most true self! The front that we see they "greeting" us at the shopping malls, hotel etc is just .... a front! Underneath the true self reveals!

Went to the 'Avenue of Stars' -So called MUST SEE in HKG whereby Famous Movie Stars leaves their Hand Imprints & sign off on e Pavements! I looked for Jackie Chan’s (no imprints left liao!), Bruce Lee, Anita Mui etc. Those dead have only a star imprint.

Almost time for Sunset! Orangy sky!

On my way back to the MTR, I saw this scene... I guess only the "Angmohs" will patronise the busy, the locals probably get their domesticated wives back home to do it! Still, this is the scene I would love to capture on camera!

Since @TST, I went to Granville Rd to look see yet another Bugis Village style st. Bored w it! Enroute back to the MTR station, I went to Silvercord Shopping mall-Nice arty farty boutiques w nice jap style shops like Bugis Junction Mall's nice Jap section. Niceeee-but still too expensive for cheapo po Soya! Wuahaha!

Bk to hotel, dropped my loot off! Ventured out to find the highly recommended 美都餐室 (Mido Café) @temple St! Abit difficult to find cos it was at e other end of Temple St! Passed by so many makeshift 'stalls' of Fortune Tellers & “ 卖唱“ (Mai Chang) -Reminds me of e great movie i love <新不了情> by Anita Yuen & Lau QingYun! Wow! Cool! Stupid me forgt to bring camera out for dinner! Hungry cant think lah! 9pm liao still yet to have dinner!

Finally found MIDO Cafe! Packed! Got a place upstairs(as highly recommended!) wow! Like in HKG movie where they go eat dimsim for BF! The famous Polo Bun w Butter (菠萝包加油) sold out! Boss & Waitress only can repeat “明天趁早!” in cantonese! Haiz!

Nevertheless, mus eat sm food,order sm Soupy Yi Noodles & a 小菜 (vege dish) of 小白菜 , asked for less oil(feeling guilt tat i havent been working out & really pigging too much)!.
so she said she will specially instruct to have it v little oil. In e end,she delivered a small bowl of dark soya sauce 1st,then e vege came. it was broached, jus w water-tat explains e soya sauce! So every mouthful i'll hav to dip it in & eat it. It's really too bad i dun really understand e Impressive chinese menu, nor abit of Cantonese to converse comfortably. Nonetheless, i'm really happy for e Nostalgic feel! I love vintage stuff, immersing w e Locals!

I stopped by sm shop to have a Sesame paste dessert too! Niceee! Then it’s back to hotel! I am having prob packing my loot esp + the 2 pairs of sports shoes!

Thank God for Cable, Discovery Channel! Why am I so interested to know how the nuclear turbine works actually, I duno, t’s just very technic & I think it’s good knowledge lah! I watched it till 1am before I forced myself to off e TV.

Day 3(1Jul) MACAU - HKG

I crawled into bed with KT this morning at 3+am cos I had nightmare! Boohooo!

Sleepyhead us went to have BF @茶餐厅 (Cha Chan Ting) =)

I left the loot I got from ZHUHAI at KT’s & packed the rest of the stuff for HKG. Depart to Ferry terminal by bus, reached & just followed the crowd!

Forgot to bring some MOP for ferry tkts so paid HKG$ for it! KT said it’s LuGi and hat for every MOP$500, I should be getting HKG$515, that’s S$3 more! Wuahahh! She also said MOP is useless outside MACAU, moneychangers dun accept it! Anyway, ferry cost MOP155(~S$31)!

I have 30mins to kill till nxt ferry,thank goodness for FREE WIFI! Make use to chk email & send email to KT. YAY! Love my Windows Mobile Phone! WM Phones ROARRRR!!!
It’s a 65mins ride =) I fell asleep with the ipod on! Keke! Luckily no seasickness!

Ferry Ride!

Reached TST's Ferry terminal, niceeer than S'pore's Harbour Front! In my excitement, I forgot to ask for a tourist map @ Ferry terminal. Plus, I got the wrong directions frm e Receptionist! OMG! Lost my way trying to topo to Jordan MTR!

I attempted to walk(HongKonger's style) 1 statn frm TsimShaTsui MTR,but walked further & further away! In e end, I succumbed & took MTR for 1 statn! Must Thank Eeleen for e Octopus Card(HKG's version of our EzLink Card)!

Following Instructions frm Hotel booking email, I topo abit & found it! VIOLA: Evergreen Hotel!
By the time I reached & checked in, it was 3.30pm! Means 1hr of fruitless topo-ing! It's only 10mins away frm Jordan MTR! Faint!

I quickly dropped everyting in hotel, rested abit & Day1HKG Adventure begins!
When asked how do HKGers go to Fa Yuen St/Ladies St,e friendly recept told me that HongKongers would walk cos they knw e way! The information is good enough for me! This is it, I SHALL WALK, like the Hongkongers do! =)
So I walked 3 Statns to Mongkok MTR & start off from FaYuen St(aka Sports wear st)! Realli! All identical shops! Liked Queensway Shopping Ctr except in Chinatown walk style! Shops after shops of sports shoes & accessories! After much walking ard, I finally decided to buy 2pairs of shoes-so tired liao! Bust budget again!

I had to take this road sign! Too Cute to miss!

Then I browsed the Ladies St, Tung Choi St(computer/gadgets). I was feeling really Hungry @ 8+pm! I searched the stalls selling fishballs etc, Search for Smelly Tofu (臭豆腐)! Nt tat smelly leh! Taste nothing special! Maybe this stall nt tat nice! Must try other stalls!

Bot a herbal tea (鸡骨草 - CHICKEN-BONE-GRASS)! The name is a turn off liao lah! Dun even know if it’s made of chicken Bones or a plant! No choice, still having ulcers! So CHICKEN-BONE-GRASS drink…. Bo bian, must drink! Yucks! * I later learnt from KT that it’s a plant. Phew!*

The streets were full of pple infront of big TV screens, tot it's abt e 1july Street Rally(Rtn of HKG to China),closer look -Playing MJ's concert DVD! OMG! (MJ passed on u see,he is now earning more than when he was alive)! Many of the shops were playing his DVDs concerts!

I walked all the way bk to Hotel, passed by DBS's ATM-withdrew sm $! Busted budget badly! Super shagged by the time I returned & dropped on the hotel bed!! Nevertheless, how can I say I have visited HKG if I never continue to 买东西, 吃东西…买东西, 吃东西…went out for Tang shui (糖水)! Die die mus try! I even bought back 3 bowls for the friendly Hotel staffs

I also went to Temple st(behind Hotel)-nothing to hype abt ,reminds me of KL's Ladies St, BKK's Papong.

I came back & soaked in bathtub of hot water for a long time!! Ahhh.....Relaxed & planned for tmr’s new adventure!!

Day 2(30Jun) MACAU – ZHUHAI(CHINA)

I woke abt 8+am,fell back asleep till abt 10+. Washed up & KT & I set off for brunch!

Went to the Wet market near her old place! Nice! I would cook if i stay alone! So much fresh greens & reds!

KT said there are lots of dog /cat lovers! Oh, spotted a rather cute W.C. place dedicated for the doggies! Cool!

After KT went to work, I took bus to the custom & crossed the ZHUHAI - CHINA(MACAU’s version of JB) myself! Adventure!

Bus ride... similar to older Singapore... the bus seats are vandalised with Liquid paper & markers! Familiar sight! Wuahah!

I am supposed to be a S'porean, who forgot to bring her hear9 aids. Speaks abit Mandarin& mostly English & lip reads! I wanna see how the locals react & what do they tok abt my back when they think I cant hear/understand them.

I am terrible@ bargaining! & Hates it. So I naturally kena ripped off! But nvm, I liked e items.
So I just asked for a price a bit below what I would pay in Singapore, let them earn abit lah!

1st buy: Customised cap w cute cartoon picture. Girl w Sparkl9 eyes, carry9 a cat(was supposed to b a dog! I asked e person to change abit!) RMB$50(~S$11) Giveaway for workmanship!

2nd buy: 4 items @ another shop. Chuiz…. RMB$850 (terribly ripped off!)

3rd: Cut & colored my hair! RMB$180(~S$39)
Rather tired of walking so much… so I decided to rtn bk to MACAU.

I ventured into a eatery, Roast duck rice(+buttocks of cos!) n 1 dimsum basket of 'Phoenix Claws'. Gave chinese tea(usually dun drink,but figured it's gd since e Duck Backside so oily)! Oh, then I realized the locals will use the hot Chinese tea to wash the utensils before eating! Cool! MOP$29(~S$5)! YEY!

Went supermkt etc, topo my way bk to KT's Aptm! Cool! Abt 20mins walk frm custom only! Abit longer than my hse to Tampines Central! So convenient! OMG! Upon return, I did my sums & chked my 'Loot'! Ops! Spent too much! FAint!

Havent seen KT for a long while!

She hates taking photos but as usual, gave in to my persistence! Wuahah! Gosh! She is so fair now!!! fAINT!!

Day 1 (29Jun) - SIN - MACAU

My bags are packed & ready to leave! Getting a teeny bit paranoid abt the H1N1 thingy, wonder with the highly published new increase in H1N1 cases in Singapore, the issue here is “Will I be quarantined upon arriving in MACAU since I came from Singapore?”
Not so much of “Will I get quarantined when I returned to Singapore?”

Just 1 backpack, so no problem! Took the direct bus from home! Yay! I am really Leaving!!!

My flight was delayed & also changed gate. Couldn’t really hear the announcement properly cos of the renovation work going on! Weird habit of mine to buy a book enroute to a holiday destination! Excited! Bought Book to read <50facts>,rather mentally heavy stuff to read on a vacation actually. A lot of statistics & facts: for eg. “Landmines klll or maim at least 1 person every hour” – then babble on for 3-6pages on the statistics on what happened, & what should be done & can be done to improve it! Heavy material!

Well, the flight there was quite empty, my whole row was empty. I got ripped off S$6! For Water+Snacks. What happened to 1Xcomplimentary bottle of water?!

This shit cost my S$6! Argh!

Attempted to take Taxi to ! Uncle told me there’s free shuttle just behind of his cab! Haha! So I took shuttle service! I had initially thought that it ends @9pm according to website! I had reached@ 9.30pm instead of 8.50pm!

Venetian! BIG! 1st thing: Like Sistine Chapel in Italy, Rome! Thought of Mr.Tan! He would like it here-Rich Boy's Playground w all e Luxury Watch & Cloth Boutiques!


1st Attempt to shop: FAILED! Cheapo me! Everyting is SUPA EXPENSIVE (i have been warned beforehand already)! So I hold my Fire!

With 1 heavy bagpack(I weighed it at the airport – 5+kgs) + sling bag, I attempted to shopped till 10.30pm! Quick supper! Expensive! Every item is like >S$12! Can drinks @S$2.50! I dun even buy S$2.50 drinks @ foodcourts in SIN! Of cos i'll nt succumb to being ripped off in an ASIAN country!


Anyway, too much sugary stuff-i need plain water! Settled for a MOP$39(~S$8) Prawn dumpling soup noodle! Left & topo to Starbucks. Spent MOP$37(~S$7) Ice Chocolate drink & sat to wait for KT-time now 11.30pm.

KT came @ 1.15am as arranged! Cant believe, FINALLY I get to see her in MACAU!

KT's place better than expected-2bedrm aptm,Aircon in all rms&living,Heater,Fridge,Wash9 machine. Made me envy her independent lifestyle! I wana be an expatriate too! We had abit of girly talk before konking out @3.30am, she has to work tmr lah!

Finally I settled the important things in the morning!


I was awaken by Creamie's constant alarm! The Creamie-alarm has no snooze nor stop button to hit! Only 1 wake to stop it, Get my bloody ass outta bed! Still trying to train Creamie to be like Smarty Cookie! Cookie would wait for my snooze alarm (he will standby by lying on my stomach), if I dun wake after the 2nd snooze, he will start his Pounding-on-mummy's-chest-function!


So I tried to ignore Creamie for the past mornings... she is a very accurate alarm, 8am... my usually waking up time for work, but I DUN HAVE TO WORK ON SUNDAYS!! Boohoo! Give me my beauty sleep!! So I peek under the pillow, she started to nudge and nose her way into my face! So cute! Kekkek!


After 20mins of high pitch meowing, I really dun have the heart to see her "wail" so sadly.... only after very subtling setting the alarm off, I jump outa bed & give Creamie my most energetic greeting : " HIIIIIiiii CREAMIEE DARLING BABY!!! GoooooooooOOOOD Morning!!!! Say HELLllooo to MUmmmmmmi!" Ok, try to imagine that 2 octave higher than my usual pitch!!


Oh, DId I forget to mention, I get damn grummpy if I dun have enough sleeeep?! But how can I scold my Baby when she merely wanna me to wake (she must be afraid that I will be late for work)! *Pat*Pat*Sayang*Creamie*


Went to the market for BF with Papa.... bought some last min stuff for packing my trip. Always enjoy BF with Papa....

Came back. Bathed for Creamie! She was amazing very well behaved for today's session! =D Kekkek! Did cry abit lah, but alot lesser than usual! Happy!


Quickly prepare to leave the hse to go down to Cathy Hse ADIDAS! With Jordan's help, I got a 50% off for customising a pair of running shoes! Have been wanting to get 1 to improve, experiencing much pain in my left knees n right pelvis/hip joint area...OUCH! No choice! Need to increase the distance slowly in view of the September event!


So, I get:
1) Gait analysis
- mildly flat footed, tends to roll inwards = Overpronate
- That explains the persistent & return of the pain in those area I mentioned! Orh!


2) Custom size for left & right foot
- Beat this! My left foot is smaller & less wide, my right foot size is bigger. So I can get different size for each side! Beat this!!


3) Customise the colour scheme for shoes
- I chose the AdiZero series!
-After fitting in the colour, I realised that mine looks like a product outta United Color of Benetton! Very retro! Colorful!! Wooohooo!!

Abit small but this is the colour scheme , image generated from the Computer System! It will be made in Hongkong (irony cos I am flying there tmr)! & FedEx to Singapore!!! Woooohoooo! See my new shoes in abt 4 weeks time!

Meanwhile, tahan the pain & pray it will go away soon!!!

Thereafter, I quickly went to Plaza Singapura Daiso to get some travel essential!

Back home, I vacuumed & mopped the room! Then I started to do my packing!

Cos for 9 days, I am only gonna bring this backpack!

Let Wicked People Be Abused!!

I received a missed-call from Raymond (Cat Volunteer) at about 6+pm today...

Cos he called me the day before at about the same timing, just to check on how Creamie & I are doing (so nice of him =) ), I didnt suspect anything.

What rude shock I got when i returned his called. He asked if I want the Bad news or the worse news... I asked for the worse news... but before he could continue, I told him that if Ginger Kitten & mummy kimberly were adopted together (as per Penny's wish), it's not a worse news at all (although it would mean that I wouldnt get Ginger Kitten), I would still be very happy that both Mummy & son could be loved by some1 else! It would mean to ease Penny's burden as well!

But but.... to my surprise, Raymond told me that 2 young guys (abt mid 20s) did came by Penny's. Told Penny that they would like to adopt both Kimberly n Kitten. Penny, only too happy, of course agreed! They "borrowed" a cat carrier from Penny, gave their address somewhere in North West of Singapore, Penny was supposed to collect back the Carrier later.

It turned out to be a scam! Raymond was notified by Penny abt what happened! Call it the Volunteer's instinct or whatever, when Raymond n Penny called back the hp number they gave, the party realising it was Penny who called, Slammed down on the phone. Repeated calls were to avail as they had off their Hp. The address given turned out to be a fake address as well!!
OMG!! Absurd!!! Crazy! Wicked People!

Raymond & Penny were desperate! Raymond called me to tell me the WORST news! They both feared for the safety of Kimberly & Kitten... OMG!! Raymond, who have wealth of experience volunteering and rehoming cats expressed his frustration of going to the authorities (namly Police), who will only tell him to refer to the SPCA, which may not even take the case of investigation... bah...bah.... bah.... Raymond knows too well! Banking on his knowledge of Singapore's very "STRAIGHT" laws, he decided to approach the whole case from the angle of CHEATING.... cheating to return the borrow Carrier and failure to do so (as provided a fictious address n refused to be contacted).

It worked magic!! The police decided to track them down using the HP number provided, through the Service Provider's registry, they tracked the wicked people down! They promised to return the cats & carrier to the NPP by 8pm.

I got the update from Raymond at 1038pm,
"Confirmed - both kimberly and Sunkist back n Safe! =) "

PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Honestly speaking, though I know i would be rather disappointed if I don't get to adopt Sunkist (Kitten). It was kinda Love at the 1st Sight! The whole process of being screened as a Adopter and me screening the foster (yes, I turned down the opportunity to adopt a few kittens cos I think the environment that the foster provided is not optimal. I was concerned with their future health etc. Yet I understand that their resources are limited...).

Raymond suggested that i give a name to the Ginger Kitten (if I get to adopt him).
His name shall be: SUNKIST NG OR-LING!!!

I was contemplating between PUMPKIN, SUNSHINE. Decided to follow the theme of Food!!

or... maybe.... just maybe... SUNSHINE NG YANG GUANG?

For now, I am just very thankful that both Mummy & Son are safely back with Penny!

So poor thing... Actually I think Kimberly's temperament is great... she's a young mummy, probably similar or a little older than Creamie only... she has a sweet innocent temperament...
Pity I cant take both of them in...

saw my tears well up everything I think abt him...
you were there... I wanted to run away, but you held on to me...

I may laugh when in company of others...
I may seem to function normally at work...
I may on the face of it behave customarily...
That's cos I can face others who havent seen nor know the true me...
They know me not the way you do...
You have known, the defenseless part of me...

Pardon me for my self-centeredness...
It's not that I do not know nor feel...
Please, I am Sory i seemed to ignored your pain too...
I simply am jaded, too jaded to offered you my weighted shoulders...

Have to move on...spread the L-O-V-E!

It took me 3 days to finally garner the courage to call someone from the Cats Welfare Society website for a cat put up for adoption...

very tough 3 days.... I cant help but put the blame on myself for the death of Cookie...
I do not know if I am ready for another Cat... to give my heart away... when 1 part had died off...
But seeing Creamie mopping around the room everyday is just too painful... still I hesitated...

When I finally decided to call... the owner decided not to give it up cos her son cant bear to... haiz... the cat was very similar to cookie in terms of colour, temperament, and even sleeping posture...

So for the next few days I was researching on how to integrate different cats, of different age, gender, temperament etc....

In fact, a Ginger cat caught my eyes... Mei was really kind to go with me to the viewing at Yishun... it was lovely! Mother & son... but the fostered wanted to give away the 2 together... they have been through alot & she couldnt bear to separate them....

She also cautioned me that Creamie may be alittle too active for a 2mths old kitten... got me very worried & I had to ask Cat Welfare Volunteer Raymond to help gauge if Creamie is too active for a 10 mths old female..... he actually told me that Creamie is vey smart (She showed off her FETCHING Skills to Raymond! kekek!) , that her temperament is very good & independent... will do fine with a young 2mths.... phew!!

So he will go convince the Foster.... I will wait till I get back from HKG/MACAU before final decision...

To end off the whole thing, Raymond gave me some very good pointers on kitty care... & for the past week, I finally feel so much better to hear this from him:

"Soya, I know it's difficult for you to lose your Cookie that way... but dun beat yourself up for it... think of what you can do to prevent future mishaps. I can tell that you are a good mummy... trust me, I have beening volunteer work for years & looking at the condition of ur hse n Creamie, I want you to know that you have done a fantastic job... Creamie obviously adores you as her Mummy, she is happy to be under your care, healthy and well mannered... you have provided them with the best you can... let's move on & we can find you another cat, so that your abundance love can be shared!"

My tears welled up but I refused shed them... for the past week, this was the most comforting words I have heard...

I wonder how many of us have been the kitty, avoiding it all... or the rabbit... chasing love unconditionally...
it only takes 1 magic moment to discover... all is possible... we only have to want it... what do we really look for in love?

Can we be that Kitty or Bunny? Accepting Love the way it is... the way it comes to us, or the way we wish to pursue it? T he last part has an 爱屋及乌 feeling... awwwwww..... bleah but so sweeet and heart warming.... it takes too little to fall in love, but to stay in love, it takes so much much much more....are u up to it? =D

Mummy & Creamie misses Cookie...loads

My Creamie has been acting weird recently...

1) She eats only with my company... even when I know she is really hungry, if I walk away - she will stop eating... she used to have to eat quickly else cookie will finish her share too....

2) She loiters around the spots that Cookie used to hang out / hide.... she will peek into hidding corners... look around.... when I shake the bell on Cookie's collar, she will get all perked up and start looking around here and there.... then looked at me in the most puzzled manner, seemingly asking:"Mummy, where is Ge Ge Cookie? Where did he hide? I dun wanna play hide N seek anymore! I wanna cuddle up with him... can u ask him to come out & play?"
*Ok, I know I invented the thoughts, but when u see her, you would have thought she's thinking that too...

3) She wanna alot of my attention... she "demands" to play FETCH with me.... she will come biting the rubba band in her mouth, drop in on my laptop, and use her head to nudge on my arm/hand.... she wants me to "shoot" the rubba band for her to fetch.... if I ignore her, she will "MEOW" at me loudly! She will repeatedly play fetch for abt 15-20mins, very long for her usually short attention span...

4) Cat Welfare Foster/Volunteer Raymond came over the other night, he could tell that she is sad and missing Cookie... haiz... cos it was at abt 8+9pm, the time when I usually get home and the time when she will start to Look for Cookie (he will come out from his hiding place to greet me)....
