I received a bouquet of Pink Roses at work this afternoon....
Ok, I have received flowers before.... but this was the most *BLUSHING* one to date...
1) I had no idea it was coming,
2) The bank was crowded today & everyone in the Queue for looking at me, including the customer I was sitting down with!
3) My dear colleague, Gary, shouted with much excitement: “SISTER! You got flowers!!!"
*At this point, my colleagues at the teller counters were all looking at me...
Ok, I must admit - I like the attention, it's nice to be recognised that I am someone nice enough to deserve a bouquet of flowers! Leo woman love the attention! Hahah!
After much delay (serving 2 more customers) before I could read the card.
"Happy 28 plus 1 birthday! Stay cute and adorable always! From J"
Who is J? Haiz... Please, do yourself a favour, do the recipient a favour,
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN OFF WITH SUCH A GENERIC INITAL!
If you are giving a gift, Be proud of who you are! Make sure the credit goes to you! You dun spent the whole night writing a report for work & asking someone else to sign it off right?!
It's kinda funny as I initially thought it could be a trick from another friend with the initial "J"!
I had to "test the water" alittle, before I could be 95% sure who it's from!
Anyhow, I kena teased alot by all my colleagues until bro Gary said I am like on FIRE! "Sister, your face very red lah!" I had to take off me work jacket as I was feeling the "HEAT"!
So paiseh!
I had to bring the flowers down to town to meet Mr.J for dinner, the MRT ride was the most happening experience! I kept banging the bouquet onto pple lah! Malu lor! When I finally got to meet J, I can feel that I am still blushing and was really at a loss of words for at least 45mins later lah....sat in awkward silence in the restaurant. After I "warmed up" (irony is: I was feeling really hot already), the conversation just flow...
Nice dinner.... had to be disrupted by a 8minutes phone call with my Boss's Boss... haiz...
Anyway, J sent me back & presented me a pressie... WOW! I am truly surprised! He gave me this passport holder.... I had told him I spoilt mine in MACAU, surprised me cos he actually rembed.... =)
J is terribly shy lah! OMG! I am already quite Shy, alas...
Somehow I really like to tease him & he blushes very easily lah…
I told him that at 29yrs of age, no one describes me as cute & adorable anymore! They usually describe me as “Pretty & smart”! He just rolled his eyes!
Oh, J: “Can I ask you a stupid Qn?”
S: “Can, then I will give you a stupid Ans!”
J: “Your birthday is 3 Aug right?”
S: “Nope, it’s 4 Aug”
J: “Gooosh, now I feel sooooo STUPID! ARGH!”
Silly silly….but so funny! Wuahahh! =D
BTW, Creamie loves the Flower too! She kept wanting to taste them! Kekek!
