Soya's New World!: Random posting + Soya's BonBons!

Some days back, I went for my hearty breakfast at the market...

ordered my usual:

Don't laugh! That's why it's call Hearty Breakfast!

It's the way I like to start my day... esp when I have something impt on... I like to make sure I start it right!

Kinda calms me down, keep me steady going!

Kopi-Prince asked me today

"Girl, u always jog at Bedok Reservoir hor?! I see jogging there even quite late in the evening!"

Hmm... that's a first... cos usually he n his brother will always ask me if I am a PE teacher or a Policewoman! So i just smile shyly and said "yes!"

So, he jogged there at often & have seen me around many times already! Then he exclaimed:

"Wau, I start jogging then see u, I finish liao u still jogging leh! U jog very long hor!"

"No lah, I jog very slow lah! That's why u finish liao I still jogging!

But that's the truth!

I jogged so slowly these days that I take 2hrs flat to complete my routine jog... damn chuiz lah, takes all my time up in the evening!

1st statement upon completion:"I m the 1st? Really?!"

30yrs old TaiTai Wannabe Me did her VIRGIN Half marathon in Dec2009 in

2hrs20mins...

distance: 21km,

1st statement upon completion:"Wau Sai! Finally finish siah! Ouch!"

A couple of nites ago, I was startled awake at 1.55am by a loud glass crashing sound! Alas, C&N knocked over my heavy frost glass bedside lamp and it broke!

In the dark, I could figured the edge of the bed and quickly went to on the lights and cleared the broken glasses... then I saw

Then I realised that C&N was trying to "protect" me from the a/m.... Argh! I saw IT.... Creamie n Nugget were like playing table Tennis... & IT was the Ping Pong ball... Creamie gave a defensive backhand and Nugget caught IT when it spinned towards him, he returned with a forceful forehand chopper styled return.... so on & so forth... I have seened enough while I was dumbfounded for that while!

Then I screamed....

yes, at 2am... it could sound rather scary...

So my Papa n Bro Edwards came outa their rooms n into my room AT THE SAME TIME & ASKED IN TANDEM...

"WHAT HAPPENED? GOT XIAO QIANG AH?"

This is probably the only time they will not give me a earful when I scream like that at wee hours!

They totally understand n accept that I will always be doing this-since I have done this for the past 30yrs liao!

Anyway, they "rescued" Xiao Qiang from the ruthless paws of C&N n put it peaceful "to sleep." R.I.P Xiao Qiang...

C&N were like so stunned that they looked at each other, seemingly asking:

"Eh... wat happened to our ping pong ball siah?"

So without my bedside lah... it's dark n lonely... I decided to improvish something...

I gave GoodLuck Bear a BLIMEY BIG ONE between his....ahemm.... u-knw-where...

There! He's the Man! His got the ONE that torches my life!

He gives Woman like me HOPE in the midst of Darkness!

Also, duno wat got into me... must be stress at work siah!

I bot a new calculator cos the 1 i had seemed to be working erratically....

I could choose from many colours...

the classic black...

the "apple-mac-crazy" all white...

the white with Mint Aquamarine...

But I chose this White & Pink Combi!

*1st person I tot of when I see this colour is Princess Clare! kekek!*

Nice?! Huat Ah in the new year to come!

Decided to impromptu make some scones from the new recipe I got from Eeleen's sister's baking book!

1st time trying! it seemed rather simple but I had a few hiccups already!

1) Need 1 X Orange... of all the times that we had to throw away rotten oranges, I dun have ONE at home now.... cant find a place that sells ONE only also. Damn!

-Bo bian, dug out 1 Lemon in the fridge, replace with Orange bah! =P

2) The baking shop ran outa Self raising flour! Of all the Plain flour, Cake flour, Top Flour, Corn flour.... it had to be the Self Raising Flour that I need that got NO STOCK! What luck!

-Tough Luck, bot Plain Flour & self mix some baking agent using A-Ga-Ra-Tion portion! =P

3) Dun have round shaped cookie cutter! I've got Gingerbreadman, gingerbread house cutter but no simple ROUND cutter!

- AhHah! Improvished used a round container without the cap! =P
